High Wind Warning

High winds are anticipated on Monday, December 29, beginning in the morning and easing by Monday evening. 

Strong gusts may bring down tree limbs, cause power outages, create difficult driving conditions and blow loose debris.

You should secure loose outdoor items, avoid parking near trees or power lines, use extra caution when driving, and stay clear of any downed wires.

Heavy rain is expected on Sunday, Dec 28, with the potential for freezing rain. Localized flooding is possible. Some roads may become impassable. Freezing rain could make roads and walkways icy and slippery.

If you need to report fallen trees, road issues, blocked catch basins, or sewer back-ups, please call 905 871-1600. To report power outages, contact Canadian Niagara Power at 905-871-0330. For emergencies, please dial 911.
